Job summary

xCelle Americas is seeking a Quality Inspector to uphold airworthiness standards, reporting to the Quality Manager. The role involves performing inspections and tests on civil aviation components using precision tools and ensuring compliance with FAA and EASA regulations.

You will coordinate with Production Supervisors, complete maintenance records, and conduct in-process, final, and return-to-service inspections, with training responsibilities for technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Familiar with FAA and EASA regulations.
• Proficient in inspection methods, techniques, and tools.
• Able to read and interpret manuals (maintenance/repair).
• Able to calculate tolerances with calibrated measuring devices.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors to support production schedule.
• Complete maintenance records per Quality Management System endorsements.
• Notify supervisor of any suspected un-airworthy condition.
• Perform receiving inspections of parts and materials as needed.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure repairs meet approved data.
• Perform final inspections and return-to-service with proper documentation.
• Train and mentor technicians and other inspectors as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
