Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a Quality Control Inspector at its Perryville, Missouri location. The role ensures compliance with FAA regulations, collaborates with Aircraft Technicians, Program Managers, and QA staff, and supports airframe inspections with precise sign-offs.

Ideal candidates hold an A&P license or Repairman Certificate (IA preferred) and have at least 3 years of turbine aircraft inspection experience.

Qualifications

• Familiar with all facets of manuals required to maintain aircraft.
• Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations.
• 3 years turbine aircraft inspection experience with return to service authority required.
• Customer service experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Maintain West Star Aviation’s quality standards by inspecting technician’s work, performing “ok to close”, and auditing.
• Ensure proper sign-offs in Corridor as part of the inspection process.
• Participate in daily review meetings.
• Assist with Airframe Inspections.
• Coordinate steps signed off, inspected, and closed so airframe squawks can be completed.
• Maintain customer oriented work habits and effective communication in English.

Education

AP license or Repairman Certificate

Inspection Authorization (IA) recommended
