Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Palm Beach, FL seeks an RS Quality Manager/Chief Inspector with FAA 145 RS experience to lead the Repair Station quality program and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. A Bachelor’s degree in aviation sciences or related field, plus 6 years of Part 25 technical experience and 3 years in supervision, are required.

An A&P license is required; knowledge of FAR Parts 145, 43, 91, 121 and 135 is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation sciences, quality systems or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of technical experience within Part 25 aircraft.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• A&P license required; may offset degree with experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAR Part 145, Part 43, Part 91, Part 121 and Part 135.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsabilités

• Ensure Repair Station compliance with regulatory requirements and manufacturers' recommendations for maintenance, repair, and alterations.
• Coordinate multiple duties such as SMS coordinator, Training Coordinator, Continuous Improvement coordinator, EHS coordinator, Security coordinator, Export/Import compliance, PMA approvals as assigned.
• Plan and develop quality standards, methods, and procedures; optimize labor and materials usage.
• Establish training programs to upgrade employees' technical capabilities and knowledge of governing procedures.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, OEMs and vendors to support ongoing operations.
• Promote department goals and align with company values with emphasis on safety.
• Appraise performance, address complaints and resolve problems promptly.
• Assign tasks and hire qualified personnel as needed; manage departmental budgets and controls.
