Job summary

Leidos is seeking a QA specialist to support the FFSP Quality Assurance Program, QA/QC activities, and the implementation of the Quality Management Plan. You will ensure compliance with FAA orders and internal processes while auditing air traffic services to maintain high safety and quality standards.

The role involves training development, data analysis, and collaboration with multiple departments. Some travel and possible relocation to FTW or DCA may be required.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience or a Master’s with 6-10 years.
• FAA Pilot Weather Briefing Certification is required.
• Currency in two Air Traffic Flight Service operational positions with limited recertification effort.
• Working knowledge of FAA Orders 7110.10, 7110.65, 7930.2 and 7210.3.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; leadership and teamwork.
• Aviation weather knowledge and technical weather knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist the FFSP QA Program implementation and administration.
• Support the QMP maintenance and FAA regulatory compliance.
• Audit air traffic services delivery for safety and quality.
• Gather, report, and process MOR, ROI, and incident data.
• Collaborate across departments and support training development.
• Provide engineering interface specs to improve product functionality.
