Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join the Environmental, Health, Safety and Security Programs & Strategy team in Atlanta. You will help drive program evaluation and improvement by identifying hazards and completing field quality assurance assessments, ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.

The role focuses on implementing tools, conducting audits, and promoting a culture of safety, with up to 75% travel and a background in EH&S preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Aviation Safety is preferred.
• 3–6 years of EH&S program management experience or related leadership roles.
• Strong technical and business writing skills; ability to influence across functions.
• Proficient with Office 365 apps and Excel for data handling.

Responsibilities

• Partners with operations, compliance and safety teams to develop and implement tools, programs, procedures and processes for a company-wide safety management system.
• Verifies that all locations comply with internal and external requirements via a formal safety audit program.
• Measures and improves the effectiveness of safety requirements, procedures and audits and updates gaps as needed.
• Performs safety and compliance audits to identify deficiencies and root causes and implements corrective actions.
• Conducts station visits to evaluate safety performance and gather feedback for program improvement.
• Develops and communicates corrective actions that can be implemented locally and across the organization.
