Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Greenville, SC is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead Inspector for the F-16 Production Team. The role inspects and validates mechanical work and processes, using precision measuring tools and blueprints to ensure adherence to specifications.

The candidate will support second shift on a 4x10A schedule and interact with customers for buy-off. Strong documentation and problem-solving skills are essential to ensure compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications and/or Aircraft drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Airframe/APG/Electrical/Flight line experience is preferred.
• Ability to generate discrepancy reports and write nonconformance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Validate in-process and completed products using predetermined methods.
• Use blueprints and technical orders to verify specifications and assembly build-up.
• Employ dial indicators, micrometers, scales, fixtures, and borescopes to assess serviceability.
• Collaborate with customers to present validated work for approval and final buy-off.
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness; generate discrepancy reports.
