Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for the F-16 Production Team in Greenville, SC. The role focuses on inspecting and validating mechanical, electronic, structural, and powerplant work to ensure conformance to blueprints and specifications.

You will work closely with customers to present validated results for approval, review documentation for accuracy, and generate discrepancy reports for identified issues. A first shift on a 4x10A schedule is required.

Qualifications

• 8 years or more of demonstrated experience as an Aircraft Mechanic/Assembler/Inspector.
• Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications and/or Aircraft drawings.
• Airframe/APG/Electrical/Flight line experience.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, scales and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Use predetermined methods to validate in-process and completed product such as electronic, mechanical, structural, and powerplant units and subsystems.
• Utilize blueprints, diagrams, and technical orders to validate specifications and assembly build-up.
• Utilize dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, and borescopes to evaluate aircraft/part serviceability.
• Work with the customer to present validated work for their approval and final buy-off.
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate discrepancy reports for identified flaws, internal defects and incorrect work.
