Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Greenville, SC is seeking a Manufacturing Support Team Member - Level 3 for the F-16 Block 70 Manufacturing Support Team. You will support production processes and deliver on-the-job training, assessment, and certification for electrical and structural assembly.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration, 6S/lean practices, and continuous improvement in a safety-conscious environment. Prior aircraft assembly experience and strong problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or 6 years of professional experience.
• Experience in reading and interpreting detailed blueprints, lay-out sketches, process standards and specifications.
• Experience with aircraft work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, and train personnel on-the-job in electrical and structural assembly procedures.
• Component installation and operational check out.
• Identify and recommend corrective actions for any deficient assembly processes or skill gaps.
• Support corrective-action investigations, root-cause analysis, and implement process improvements.
• Maintain 6S/lean practices within your area of responsibility.
• Act as supervisor during supervisor absences, build work plans, and set daily expectations for the team.
