Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector in Chattanooga, TN to oversee all production work to ensure compliance with the FAA regulations and West Star Repair Station Manual.

You will coordinate with Program Managers, Team Leaders, and Quality Control Inspectors to validate work and complete the necessary approval paperwork for return to service. Ideal candidates will have 3 years of turbine aircraft inspection experience with return to service authority, an A&P

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A&P License or Repairman Certificate required.
• IA rating recommended.
• 3 years turbine aircraft inspection experience with return to service authority required.
• Read electrical and structural prints recommended.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all assigned production work scopes to ensure conformance with the Repair Station Manual and FAA regulations.
• Perform work order surveillance and create maintenance log entries for maintenance and modifications.
• Prepare FAA 337 forms for major repairs and alterations.
• Create Weight & Balance reports from data and documents.
• Coordinate work scopes with Program Managers, Team Leaders and QC Inspectors daily.
• Compile and organize documentation for delivery and return-to-service.
• Support Engineering to ensure alterations/repairs comply with FAA requirements.
• Conduct internal audits as required.
• Maintain clear communication with the Team Leader and customers.
