Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. seeks an Aviation Project Manager (P.E.) to lead design, budgeting, scheduling, and construction management for airport infrastructure projects in Iowa. This leadership role includes business development, client liaison with airport boards, and managing multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, 5+ years in civil engineering, and experience in plan/spec development and contracting. Travel may be required across project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• 5+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• Experience in client relationship management and business development.
• Experience in plan/specification development and construction contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, scheduling and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel (design and construction).
• Serve as a client contact to airport boards/commissions and clients as assigned.
• Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Perform business development activities (client needs, research, proposals, etc.).
• Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation with field staff.
• Assist with training and development of professional/technical staff.
• Develop relationships with regulatory agencies.
• Travel periodically to project sites and related locations.
