Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Project Manager to join our Aviation team in Denver, CO. You will lead aviation projects and manage cross-disciplinary engineering efforts.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in civil engineering, 18+ years of relevant experience, PE license, and strong leadership. The role involves client interactions with FAA and state agencies, QA/QC, and construction oversight; travel is expected around 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
• At least eighteen (18) years of relevant experience.
• PE license is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the project manager for aviation projects.
• Lead aviation civil engineering tasks and prepare reports, budgets, cost estimates, specifications, plans, schedules, and permits.
• Lead proactive client interactions with FAA programming and state/government agencies.
• Perform QA/QC tasks.
• Support onsite during construction as Engineer of Record and provide construction management to resident engineering teams.
• Travel within the FAA Northwest Mountain Region is required (approximately 20%).
