Job summary

FSB Architects + Engineers is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex aviation projects in our Denver office. You will guide planning through construction, manage budgets and teams, and maintain strong client relationships with aviation stakeholders.

The role emphasizes strategic client management, development of early-career project managers, and active participation in business development within aviation markets. Travel to project sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Professional licensure preferred; PMP or equivalent certification accepted if not licensed.
• 15+ years leading complex architecture/engineering projects.
• Experience in aviation design projects (airport, terminal, hangar, etc.).
• Strong budgeting, contracts, scheduling, and quality management knowledge.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Business development and client account management in aviation market preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of the firm’s largest aviation projects across all phases.
• Develop and implement Project Strategic Plans aligned with client objectives.
• Serve as primary client contact and build strong aviation client relationships.
• Prepare scopes of work, fee proposals, contracts, and consultant agreements.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate internal staff and consultants.
• Monitor budgets, schedules, profitability, invoicing, and risk; implement recovery plans.
• Communicate status and strategic direction with leadership and principals.
• Mentor less experienced project managers and team members.
• Support business development and pursuit activities within aviation market.
