Job summary

STV is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Aviation to lead airport terminal improvement projects onsite in New York, NY or Newark, NJ. You will manage all project phases, coordinate with airport operators, regulators, and delivery partners, and oversee design, scheduling, procurement, and commissioning.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management and 12+ years of airport project experience, with expertise in Primavera P6 and PMIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; candidates may substitute comparable experience.
• Minimum 12 years of experience, preferably on airport projects.
• Experience managing capital projects/programs over $10M.
• Knowledge of airport operations, design, and construction of airport facilities.
• Experience overseeing multiple construction activities concurrently on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management, technical oversight and leadership for all phases of aviation projects including business case development, stakeholder engagement, design management, procurement, permitting, scheduling, and cost/change management.
• Lead discipline managers and contractors to address program challenges, risk, schedule and budget performance.
• Ensure high-quality delivery that exceeds client expectations through effective leadership.
• Develop project-level processes, controls, and governance to align with project goals.
• Oversee all aspects of project planning and development, including engineering, pre-construction, construction, bidding, schedules, budgeting, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with airport operations, regulators, and other partners to align timelines and requirements.
• Develop and integrate the overall program schedule and project-level schedules; utilize earned value management to track progress.
• Conduct progress meetings and present updates to stakeholders and partners.
