Job summary

Alpha Corporation seeks a Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager to lead aviation projects for MWAA and other airport clients in the National Capital Region. You will supervise design, permitting, and delivery of complex infrastructure, mentor staff, and manage client relationships.

This role combines technical leadership with project management, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and risk while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and leveraging your PE license and 10+ years of experience to

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience in aviation or transportation.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience delivering airport/transportation infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation; strong technical design skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage airport and aviation-related infrastructure projects from planning through design and construction.
• Serve as primary client contact and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
• Oversee engineering design, reviews, and cost estimates; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff; contribute to business development.
