Urban Engineers is seeking a seasoned Project Manager or senior-level Civil Engineer to lead aviation infrastructure projects and help shape the future of our Aviation Department. This role blends technical leadership, client engagement, and project delivery – ideal for an experienced engineer ready to guide teams and manage high-impact projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 8–15 years of PM and civil/site design experience (aviation preferred).
• PE license required.
• Airport/transportation project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of airfield and landside civil design projects (scope, schedule, budget, quality).
• Oversee design of runways, taxiways, aprons, utilities, stormwater systems.
• Serve as primary client contact for airports and partner firms.
• Lead engineering teams and review deliverables.
• Develop proposals, manage subconsultants, and lead progress meetings.
• Ensure FAA, DOT, and state regulatory compliance.
• Support business development across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets.
