Job summary

Ardurra is seeking an experienced Aviation Project Engineer in Cheyenne, WY to lead airfield civil construction projects. A PE license is preferred; relocation or signing bonus may be offered for qualified candidates.

Strong FAA knowledge and travel readiness are desirable. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, 5+ years in airport consulting/engineering, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in airport consulting/engineering.
• Professional Engineer license strongly preferred, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of FAA advisory circulars related to airport design and FAA grant process.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Act as design lead for airfield civil construction projects.
• Oversee and mentor EITs in grading, pavement, marking, and safety plans.
• Coordinate with owners, internal staff, and subconsultants.
• Present design concepts in client review meetings.
• Lead during the bidding process.
• Participate in construction inspection and oversight.
