Job summary

Garmin is seeking a full-time Aviation Programs Engineer/Manager 2 at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. You will support conception, development, and application of avionics systems, and prepare technical proposals and documentation.

You will lead cross-functional teams through program life cycles, coordinate with OEM customers and internal stakeholders, and help ensure system compliance with customer requirements and milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1+ year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination
• Strong academic record (GPA ≥ 3.0 typical)
• Experience in Technical Program Management, System Requirements & Integration, or New Business Pursuits

Responsibilities

• Support OEM inquiries and ensure effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders
• Lead creation of presentation materials to inform stakeholders of program progress or issues
• Coordinate certification-related questions and documentation to support customer requirements
• May lead meetings with external/internal stakeholders to track milestones and actions
