Job summary

Aviatron, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage supplier relationships, source and evaluate products, and process purchase orders. You will negotiate terms, monitor open orders, and ensure alignment with inventory goals.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, analyzing price breaks, and collaborating with product management to drive cost-efficiency. This role requires strong communication and ERP/MRP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with supplier sourcing and negotiation.
• Strong vendor management and procurement skills.
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock.
• Research and source suppliers.
• Evaluate products and services.
• Review quotations and negotiate contracts.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders.
• Manage supplier open orders.
• Track/Expedite purchase orders.
• Evaluate supplier performance.
• Collaborate with Product Management for supplier selection via bidding, leveraging business acumen and relationships, sourcing analysis, and negotiation skills.
• Ensure buys align with product line management and company inventory goals to produce appropriate margins.
• Identify, interpret and adjust supply chain settings within the MRP system.
