Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Aviation Procurement Specialist in Okmulgee, OK, to strategically source aircraft parts, materials, tooling and consumables. You will manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, drive supplier performance, and protect schedule integrity across maintenance operations.

The role requires strong negotiation, expediting, and cross-functional collaboration to mitigate supply risks and ensure material readiness for aviation programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in aviation procurement within MRO or regulated manufacturing.
• Hands-on purchasing processes: RFQs, POs, supplier performance.
• Ability to manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle with urgency.
• Strong supplier risk management and lead time analysis.
• Excellent cross-functional communication with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement for aircraft parts and consumables with ownership.
• Analyze demand, forecasts, lead times, and market conditions.
• Manage RFQs, sourcing, POs, supplier commitments, and expediting.
• Prioritize critical and AOG material requirements.
• Drive recovery strategies for supplier delays and issues.
• Develop alternate sourcing and interchangeable parts.
