Job summary

Passero Associates seeks a Southeast Aviation Services Director to lead and grow the aviation practice across the Southeast, with emphasis on Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. This senior role blends aviation expertise with business development, financial oversight, and people leadership to deliver multi-disciplinary aviation planning, design, and construction services. Expect travel across the Southeast and close collaboration with sponsors and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to engineering, planning, architecture, aviation management, business or construction management.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible aviation consulting, airport management, program management, or related experience.
• Demonstrated leadership of a aviation practice, business unit, or regional operation.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for Passero’s Southeast aviation practice.
• Lead, mentor, recruit, and develop project managers, engineers, planners, architects, and other aviation professionals.
• Build and maintain relationships with airport sponsors, authorities, municipalities, FAA representatives, and state agencies.
• Develop and execute regional business-development strategies, including client development, proposals, and negotiations.
• Represent Passero at aviation conferences, client meetings, and industry events.
• Oversee aviation projects to ensure delivery quality, client satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Lead revenue, profitability, budgets, forecasting, and staffing for the practice.
• Develop future leaders and succession/workforce plans.
• Promote collaboration across disciplines to deliver integrated aviation services.
