Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Regional Aviation Program & Business Development Leader to join the National Aviation team in the Southeast USA. This role focuses on airports across Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, the Carolinas, Mississippi and Alabama, driving growth and project development for the aviation practice.

The candidate will lead strategy, client engagement, and cross-disciplinary execution to deliver high-quality airfield, terminal, and support infra projects while leveraging global resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, planning, construction or similar field.
• 15+ years of professional experience and leadership in aviation or related infrastructure projects.
• Strong strategic leadership with ability to influence and deliver across multiple markets.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; client-facing experience.
• Experience with FAA guidance and airport sponsor processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead aviation program and business development efforts across the Southeast region.
• Develop strategy, grow opportunities, and drive project and proposal activity.
• Coordinate cross-business line opportunities and engage with clients and sponsors.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams on design, program/construction management and budgets.
• Build partnerships, recruit talent, and ensure project profitability and client satisfaction.
• Represent WSP at industry events and manage timelines and scope.
