Job summary

National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) is seeking an Overflights Specialist in Fort Collins to advise on NPATMA implementation and interagency processes. This role focuses on reducing overflight noise and improving visitor experience through informed planning and regulatory compliance.

The position requires a MA/MS in relevant fields with 5+ years of federal-context experience, and strong knowledge of NPS/NEPA, FAA, and DoD regulations.

Qualifications

• MA/MS degree with at least 5 years in environmental planning/compliance in a federal context.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NPS regulations, NEPA, and related guidance.
• Experience with Windows Office suite and interagency coordination.
• Knowledge of FAA, DoD, and NPATMA regulations and practices.

Responsibilities

• Advise division staff on NPATMA implementation and interagency processes.
• Develop clear recommendations to minimize overflight noise and impact on visitors.
• Support planning actions related to NP Air Tour Management Act and related statutes.
• Schedule and facilitate planning conversations with internal and external partners.
• Implement ATMPs and voluntary agreements with post-plan reporting.
• Maintain relationships with FAA, operators, and park stakeholders.
