Job summary

Landrum & Brown in Chicago is seeking a motivated intern passionate about aviation planning to join our team. This internship offers flexible start dates in January or May and provides hands‑on experience supporting project managers in airport planning projects.

You will work directly with clients on planning, environmental and public meetings, while developing data sets, reports, and presentations under supervision.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Aviation Management or related field.
• Passion for the Aviation sector.
• Highly articulate with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical/technical skills.
• Integrity and teamwork oriented.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with clients on airport planning, noise abatement, and environmental/sustainability planning.
• Participates in organizing community relations efforts and public meetings.
• Develops and maintains electronic data sets and performs data analysis and reporting in tables, charts, and reports.
• Prepares draft reports, presentations, schedules, and other deliverables under guidance from senior staff.
• Provides technical assistance and responds to data requests.
