Job summary

Royal Aircraft Services is seeking a full-time Parts Clerk to support maintenance operations at our Maryland facility. You will manage inventory, process shipments, create purchase orders and repair orders, and ensure parts are available for aircraft maintenance to keep fleets airworthy.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently, and basic Excel/Word skills; HazMat shipping certification will be pursued as part of the job. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have good command of the English language; both written and verbal.
• Prior aviation, parts handling, or inventory control experience a plus.
• Able to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Detail oriented.
• Basic Excel and Word skills.
• Must possess valid drivers’ license.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that parts and supplies are stored and maintained properly.
• Assures requested items are provided in a timely manner and meet required criteria for continued airworthiness.
• Assist in compliance of Shelf Life Program for parts and supplies.
• Assist in compliance of Tool and Test Equipment Calibration Program.
• Assist in compliance of FAA requirements for Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUPS).
• Process Shipping and Receiving of all parts.
• Process and Create RAS Purchase Orders and Repair Orders.
• Haz Mat Shipper for Air and Ground Shipments; maintain ISO hazmat shipping documents for FAA review.
• Prepare counter to counter shipments with courier service for delivery of AOG parts.
• Inventory Control in RAS and MAC systems.
• Assist in preparation of parts reports for the customer and internal departments.
• Other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager.
