Job summary

Western Aircraft Inc. in Boise, ID is seeking an Aviation Warehouse Specialist to support the Warehouse Manager with inventory control, order processing, and circulation of parts.

You will handle Will Call orders, cycle counts, lot/serial verification, and ensure proper bin locations while coordinating with Parts Runners. The role requires attention to detail, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a clean background; pre-employment drug screen and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in inventory control
• Experience issuing inventory from stock
• Experience with computer database programs performing data entry
• ERP experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares Will Call orders and processes payments when necessary
• Monitors warehouse counter for part requests and shipments
• Prepares work order requisitions for Parts Runners
• Prepares sales order requisitions
• Calculates freight charges and generates invoices/packing slips
• Performs cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Places parts in proper bin locations and updates life, quantities, and serials
• Picks parts for requisitions and sales orders using FIFO
• Verifies part numbers, serial numbers, and quantities
• Inspects parts for damage and flags unapproved/damaged items
• Moves larger items with two-man concept or forklift
