Aerotek in the Huntsville, AL region is seeking an Aircraft Painter to join a dedicated aviation paint team in Guntersville. The role focuses on body and component painting for UH-60s, with prep, priming, masking, and finishing tasks in a high-skill environment.

Candidates should have 4+ years of direct painting experience, preferably in aviation or autobody, and be adept with spray guns, primers, sealants, and booth setup.

Qualifications

• 4+ years direct painting experience in aviation or autobody.
• Experience with high gloss finishes and show prep.
• Proficient in spray gun operation and paint mixing.
• Knowledge of booth setup and stencil work.

Responsabilités

• Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking.
• Apply primers and sealants to ensure adhesion of paint.
• Inspect surfaces for defects and proper prep before painting.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
