Job summary

Aarcorp – Triumph Airborne Structures in Hot Springs, AR, seeks an experienced Painter II to prepare aircraft skins and sub-assemblies, mix primers and topcoats, and apply finishes with HVLP spray guns in a clean, compliant environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years painting experience (aviation preferred), fluent English, and the ability to lift 40–50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces while following safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years performing painting processes; aviation painting experience preferred.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Physical ability to lift 40–50 lbs, stand long, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Must pass pulmonary function test for respirator clearance.

Responsibilities

• Clean, strip, sand, grind, mask, apply coatings, and seal aircraft skins, parts, and sub-assemblies.
• Inspect finished surfaces for flaws, adhesion, and color accuracy.
• Coordinate with Lead Technician to support production schedule.
• Maintain maintenance records per Quality Management System.
