Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Perryville, MO seeks an Aircraft Paint Technician to perform masking, sanding, paint application and finishing in a heated hangar setting. You will prepare surfaces, mix paints, apply coats and ensure quality with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vo-tech in paint preferred.
• Ability to read and communicate in English per job duties.
• On-the-job experience in aviation painting is acceptable at varied levels.

Responsibilities

• Mask aircraft parts to prevent overspray and maintain clean edges.
• Sand primers and prepare surfaces for painting.
• Mix paints, match colors and apply base and top coats.
• Layout stripes and designs; perform re-masking and detailing.
• Inspect finished paint jobs for quality and safety compliance.
