Job summary

West Star Aviation in Solon, OH is seeking an Aircraft Paint Technician to support our on-site aircraft refinishing operations. You will apply basecoat, clearcoat, primers and seals, following PDS sheets and paint procedures.

The role requires knowledge of paint processes, ability to read color matching software, and willingness to travel to customer hangars as needed. A high school diploma and the ability to pass safety tests are required.

Qualifications

• Basic to advanced knowledge of aircraft refinishing and paint procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret PDS sheets and mix ratios.
• Willingness to travel to customer hangars as needed.
• Must pass Respirator Fit Test and Medical Eval.

Responsibilities

• Understand PDS sheets and mix ratios.
• Spray Single Stage, Basecoat, Clearcoat, Primer, Anti-static and Sealers.
• Maintain and clean shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Operate Paint Booth and Prep deck safely.
