Job summary

flyExclusive is seeking a skilled aircraft painter to prepare surfaces, apply primers and topcoats, and ensure high-quality finishes on corporate jets. You will follow FAA and OSHA safety rules while working in outdoor hangar environments.

With 3–5 years of jet experience, you will perform masking, sanding, and detailing, coordinate with lead painters, and maintain a safe, efficient work area. Weekend/holiday availability may be required as flight schedules demand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3–5 years current corporate jet experience, stripping, sanding, priming and painting corporate or commercial aircraft or the equivalent.
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship.
• Experience with FAA regulations and safety procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting, including masking, sanding, and cleaning as required.
• Mix paints, primers, and coatings per specifications and company procedures.
• Apply base coats and topcoats with proper spray techniques to ensure durable finishes.
• Layout paint schemes, mask for trim colors, and perform post-paint detailing and final finish checks.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality and compliance with standards.
• Safely operate and maintain painting equipment and tools.
• Follow FAA and OSHA safety requirements and dispose of hazardous materials properly.
• Collaborate with Lead Painters and maintenance staff to complete projects on schedule.
