Job summary

StandardAero in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Paint Coating Technician to set up and operate spray systems for painting aircraft engine parts. You will mix coatings, prepare surfaces, and ensure proper masking and curing processes.

The role requires 2+ years of painting experience (aviation preferred), familiarity with calipers/micrometers, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. On-site position with safety-focused culture and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years painting experience, aviation or automotive preferred.
• 1+ years using calipers or micrometers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, ~25% of the workday.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate spray systems to apply paint solutions and coatings to aircraft engine parts.
• Selects, prepares and mixes solutions or coatings according to formulas and specifications.
• Operates blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces of materials and components.
• Prepares and masks parts with fixtures, rubber, and tape prior to coating.
• Sets bake/cure oven controls for correct temperature and records time on process charts.
• Inspects surfaces visually for defects before and after coating, and cleans equipment.
