Job summary

AVFUEL/AVFLIGHT seeks outside sales producers in the Southeast region (TN, MS, AL, GA). Ideal candidates live near Atlanta or major metro areas in TN, MS, AL or GA. Travel to meet customers and grow fuel business is expected.

You’ll join a team with supportive colleagues, learn new skills, and build a career in aviation supply and services. Aviation experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in prospecting, sales and closing new business.
• Ability to perform calls to generate leads.
• Ability to perform analysis to qualify opportunities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills.
• 3–5 years outside sales experience is a plus with mentoring potential.

Responsibilities

• Acquiring new accounts and managing existing accounts.
• Identifying and developing new fuel business opportunities.
• Opening additional channels of trade.
• Obtaining order commitments.
• Developing sales targets and forecasts.
• Meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales goals.
• Coordinating activities and cross-selling with other sales departments.
• Developing knowledge of airport markets and influencers.
• Building knowledge of competitor products and market trends.
• Territory travel required; travel three days per week every other week.
• Must be able to drive and fly without restrictions.
