Job summary

Tradewind Aviation in Oxford, CT is seeking a full-time Supervisor, Operations to lead the Operations Center, oversee daily scheduling and dispatch, and maintain a client-focused service culture.

The successful candidate will remain calm under pressure, coordinate resources, coach the team on SOPs, and drive safe, efficient, and compliant operations for Part 91 and Part 135 flights. They may also participate in interviews and support cross-department objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• 2–3 years aircraft scheduling/dispatch in an Operations Center.
• Proven leadership coordinating teams and resources.
• Strong knowledge of aviation operations and customer service.
• FAA Dispatcher Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and oversight of the Operations Center.
• Maintain situational awareness of all operational activities.
• Promote safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations.
• Lead daily operations meetings and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Interface with other departments to support SOP compliance.
• Provide scheduling and dispatch coverage during PTO or staffing shortages.
• Participate in interviews and candidate evaluations as requested.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as assigned.
