FoxTrot Aviation Services in Wichita, KS, seeks a Senior Operations Manager with strong leadership to drive reliable service, safety, and customer relations. This role balances 50% cockpit detailing work and 50% office duties, overseeing crews and schedules for aircraft at ICT and Salina SLN, with travel as needed.

You will manage manpower, ensure safety, and build a rock-solid team while expanding key accounts.

Qualifications

Strong Leadership and Communication Skills.
Lifting up to 50lbs, bending, and twisting.
Working with a high level of detail 8 to 10 hours per day.
Medically cleared to operate heavy machinery and perform all physical work.
The candidate needs to be excellent at communication and available by a cell phone with a consistent number 24/7
The candidate must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work, due to frequent changes in the client schedule.
Pass a basic background check.
Passing a drug screening.

Responsabilités

The role is responsible for reliable quality service for our customers (50% detailing work/50% office work). Leading jobs on a daily basis to successful sign off and FoxTrot standard.
Leading Teams in CIC Removal Services including interior and exterior detailing services in an MRO Environment.
Lead expert private aircraft detailing teams with total professionalism and discretion
Commit to mastering paint correct, coatings, and metal polishing to industry leading standards by embracing the FoxTrot training process
Managing of manpower over a contractor model.
As the work is going on, ensure safety is upheld to the highest standards. Safety mindset of heat stress while wearing of hazmat suits and face respirators.
Organizing and distribution of teams to areas of aircrafts and time management of aircrafts.
Problem solving of personnel, customer and aircraft scheduling.
Taking stock inventory and place orders with the logistics manager.
Using buffing machines, carpet cleaning machines, and ladders and lifts.
Maintain and Grow Customer Relationships through frequent communication with existing accounts and growing business by expanding existing accounts and finding new ones.
Go up to customers personally to collect a schedule daily.
Email and call customers about the schedule.
Contractor Scheduling and Coordinating of labor metrics.
Selling additional services to clients as needed with the Program Manager
Give customers great experiences, whether its uncommonly great cleaning, or good conversation.
Building relationships in the hangar with new individuals.
Build a rock steady team, with strong communication and collaboration with the home office.
Maintain positive, daily communication with the team
Set elevation goals (development plans) for each team member with the help of leadership
Train team members in quality work, checklist use, and safety
Work with the back office to post ads, then interview and hire team members based on our 5 values of GRIT, Solidarity, Client Focus, Safety, and Accountability. Work with the back office to ensure timely badging and onboarding
Complete disciplinary forms to document employees
Advocate for raises for quality team members
Helps other teams and drives to other locations to ensure network wide strength
Maintains the company vehicle
Uses Divvy to upload receipts for expenses generated through the month
The Senior Operations Manager reports to the Regional Manager and Regional Director. The Senior Operations Manager works with the location leadership of Aviation Supervisors and leads to ensure 7 day per week coverage for FoxTrot’s Clients.
