Job summary

RS&H seeks an experienced Operations Leader to direct performance, project delivery, and growth of the Northeast Aviation Infrastructure practice. This hands-on role combines technical leadership with strong people and client management across Philadelphia and neighboring offices.

The candidate will oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and risk while mentoring technical leaders and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex airport projects with clarity and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• 15+ years of aviation/airfields experience with progressive technical responsibilities.
• 10+ years in leadership/supervisory roles managing technical teams.
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedules, budgets, quality and risk.
• Strong client-facing communication and independent leadership across a national organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead airport planning and design projects from kickoff through completion.
• Oversee operational and financial performance of the Northeast aviation practice.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing aviation team.
• Maintain strong relationships with airport clients and stakeholders.
• Support business development, pursuit strategy, and client relationships.
