Job summary

TFG Aviation, based in Honolulu, seeks a Director of Operations to lead multi-site aviation services, including interior cabin cleaning, exterior cleaning, and cargo operations. You will own safety, regulatory compliance, and financial results, while driving employee engagement across the region.

The role requires 7–10 years of senior operational leadership, strong knowledge of FAA/TSA/DOT regulations, and proven budget management.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive operational leadership in aviation services.
• Proven success leading geographically dispersed teams and managing aviation regulatory compliance programs.
• Expert knowledge of FAA, TSA, CBP, OSHA, and DOT regulations for aircraft services and airport operations.
• Strong understanding of aircraft types, cabin configurations, and cleaning specifications.
• Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, labor modeling, and P&L accountability.
• Excellent communication skills with employees, customers, regulators, and senior leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe Acrobat, HRIS, and operations or auditing software.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional operations: Build and execute operational strategies to drive performance, profitability, and growth; standardize best practices across stations and service lines.
• Own safety and compliance: Ensure FAA, TSA, CBP, DOT, OSHA requirements; oversee incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop leaders: Set expectations for station and regional managers; coach, evaluate, and plan succession with HR on hiring and retention.
• Build client relationships: Serve as the senior contact for airline customers and airport authorities; lead audits and renewal actions.
• Manage the P&L: Own regional budgets, control labor costs, analyze variances, and contribute to pricing decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement: Use KPIs to spot trends and guide teams through change.
