Job summary

American Flyers, a nationally recognized flight school, seeks an Assistant Operations Manager to support customer service, sales, flight instructors, and maintenance staff. This role offers exposure to all facets of flight training operations and a pathway to a school manager opportunity.

You will work with leadership to develop your skills, handle day-to-day coordination, and help ensure a high-quality experience for our students and team. Aviation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess superior verbal, written, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to develop and refine your skills with the support of school leadership in order to gain experience for future growth.
• Requires applicant to be proactive in all aspects of problem solving with a can do attitude.
• Flexibility and willingness to relocate as growth opportunity arises required.
• Aviation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customer service, sales, flight instructors, and maintenance staff to ensure student success.
• Support daily operations to enable growth and future school management opportunities.
• Provide support across departments to ensure smooth flight training operations.
