Job summary

Jacksonville Aviation Authority seeks a technical specialist to deploy, maintain, and repair CCTV security video, access control, and parking and revenue systems at JAX facilities. The role requires advanced knowledge of electronics, telecommunication devices, databases, and system diagnostics.

You will work under limited supervision in office and field environments, document work, provide customer support, and participate in system testing, equipment installation, and UPS maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant coursework and 7 years of related experience.
• OR equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Experience with CCURE9000, TIBA, Video Edge and Metasys preferred.
• Security credentials: SIDA badge and Florida driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, configure, and attend to breakdowns of access control, video surveillance, and parking systems.
• Install and set up equipment for communications, business, and security needs.
• Perform routine maintenance and update software/firmware as needed.
