Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an NDT Technician in East Alton, IL to perform non-destructive testing tasks across disassembly, cleaning, testing and post-cleaning processes. The role requires NAS 410 experience and the ability to work odd hours, with safety around x-ray operations.

We value team players who are reliable, able to follow safety rules, and communicate clearly in English. A High school diploma is required; A&P license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe and Powerplant license preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and/or passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
• NAS 410 experience/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT tasks including disassembly, cleaning, preparation, testing and post-cleaning.
• Achieve and maintain NAS 410 certifications Level I, II, or III.
• Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling.
• Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals and maintenance databases.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
