Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an NDT Technician in Chattanooga, TN to perform non-destructive testing tasks under supervision. The role requires readiness to learn, operate NDT equipment, and maintain NAS 410 certifications, with potential night/weekend shifts and adherence to FAA guidelines.

You should have a high school diploma (Airframe and Powerplant license preferred) and be able to communicate clearly in English. Benefits include medical/dental, 401K match, paid time off, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• NAS 410 knowledge and certifications required or pursued.
• Willingness to work nights/weekends as needed.
• Basic knowledge of aircraft structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT tasks under supervision, including parts disassembly, cleaning, testing.
• Maintain NDT certifications per NAS 410 and West Star Aviation's practices.
• Maintenance of shop facilities and tooling.
• Basic computer skills to navigate training and maintenance databases.
• Communicate in English effectively.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
