Job summary

Lehigh Heavy Forge Corporation in Florida is seeking a qualified NDT Level II Inspector to perform non-destructive testing on aircraft components in accordance with customer work instructions and AAR procedures. The role requires thorough documentation of inspection results and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will set up and conduct NDT, interpret indications, and communicate findings, while maintaining readiness to provide guidance to Level I inspectors

Qualifications

• Must have Level II certification in one or more NDT disciplines.
• Proficiency using applicable NDT equipment.
• 3-4 years of experience in aircraft NDT.
• Familiarity with aircraft manufacturer technical documentation and NDT standards.

Responsibilities

• Record all inspection functions per customer policies and procedures.
• Prepare parts and perform pre/post-inspection cleaning as needed.
• Set up and conduct NDT of aircraft and components.
• Interpret indicators and document Accept/Reject disposition with reference to standards.
• Develop work instructions when required and supervise Level I inspectors.
