Job summary

StandardAero, Inc. is seeking an NDT II Inspector to perform approved NDT inspections on gas turbine engines and components, including MPI, FPI, eddy current, X-ray, and visual methods, in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.

You will set up equipment, generate accurate records, support production and engineering teams, and mentor other NDT staff; must hold Level II certifications and NAS 410 qualification, and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level II NDT certifications.
• Experience in MPI and FPI and X-ray inspections.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and procedures.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections (MPI, FPI, eddy current, X-ray, visual) per procedures.
• Set up and calibrate equipment; verify operation daily.
• Document inspection results and prepare FRA 337s and reports.
• Ensure inspections are completed before release of parts.
• Coordinate with Production/Engineering to plan workload.
• Train/mentor other NDT technicians as needed.
• Review technical data for applicability to inspection procedures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
