Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Prospective student must meet screening and security requirements.
• Must have basic computer knowledge.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have proven mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Must be able to use hand and power tools.
• Must interpret dimensions and measurements.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must stand for 8 hours daily and be on-site.
• Must be able to climb ladders to access aircraft areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and major inspections on turbofan-powered aircraft.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify aircraft components and engines.
• Issue tooling to shop personnel and track tooling locations.
• Inspect, maintain, service, and repair tools; coordinate calibrations.
• Prepare tools for shipment to calibration vendors and maintain documentation.
• Observe safety and environmental policies; perform other duties as required.
