Job summary

Atlas Air Worldwide is seeking a Materials Operations Clerk in Kentucky to safely handle aircraft parts, manage receiving, binning and inventory, and support daily maintenance workloads. You will operate forklifts, maintain accurate records in the inventory system, and coordinate with Maintenance and HQ Materials to ensure parts availability.

The role requires a high school diploma, familiarity with MS Office, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in inventory, warehousing, distribution, or related functions preferred.
• 2 years of forklift experience preferred.
• Previous airline experience preferred.
• Previous cycle counting and inventory reconciliation experience preferred.
• Must be computer literate with MS Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Receive, bin, ship and issue aircraft parts.
• Create Repair Orders for unserviceable parts as directed.
• Ensure parts are available for daily maintenance workload.
• Process serviceable and unserviceable part returns.
• Perform Level 1 and Level 2 receiving inspections under QC supervision.
• Execute monthly and weekly tasks such as calibration and cycle/inventory counts.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouses and update inventory in the system.
• Monitor supplies and coordinate with HQ Materials for station needs.
• Operate forklifts to move materials.
• Attend trainings and obtain required badges.
