Job summary

Ascent Aviation Services in Tucson, AZ is seeking a detail-oriented Material Clerk to manage stock inventory, restock shelves, and coordinate with Maintenance to forecast material needs. You will perform data entry, maintain tool accountability, and participate in inventory reduction efforts, with shifts across days and 12-hour operations as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read technical data; prior inventory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• One year of inventory experience preferred.
• Must read/write English and have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Issues and controls stock inventory and evaluate stock for surplus.
• Coordinates with Maintenance Department to forecast material requirements.
• Checks stock availability on all maintenance material requests.
• Orders stock and restocks shelves.
• Monitors shelf life of applicable stock.
• Maintains, monitors and restocks bench stock.
• Stocks and issues consumables.
• Maintains, issues, and repairs small tools.
