Job summary

Ascent Aviation Services Corp. is seeking a dedicated Material Clerk in Tucson, AZ to manage stock inventories, forecast material needs with maintenance teams, and maintain accurate records. This role supports 24/7 operations with flexibility across shifts and locations.

Responsibilities include data entry, stock control, tools and consumables management, and participation in inventory reduction efforts. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer proficiency and ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to interpret and apply technical data relevant to the role.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Issue and control stock inventory and evaluate stock for surplus.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to forecast material requirements.
• Check stock availability on maintenance material requests.
• Order stock and restock shelves.
• Monitor shelf life of applicable stock.
• Maintain, monitor and restock bench stock.
• Stock and issue consumables and small tools.
• Process turn-ins from Maintenance Department.
• Enter data for issues and turn-ins.
• Maintain accountability on permanently issued tools.
• Conduct periodic and annual inventories.
• Assist with inventory reduction initiatives.
• Answer phones and order tools; maintain first aid and safety supplies.
