Job summary

Vista Global in Columbus, OH seeks an Aviation Materials Buyer to procure aircraft components and manage inventory for multiple fleet types. The Buyer reports to the VP of Procurement and Materials and coordinates with site managers and mx control to ensure timely parts delivery.

Responsibilities include processing requisitions, selecting vendors, and handling cores, warranties, and returns. A strong emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and cross-department collaboration is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Two years purchasing experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with aviation software that includes inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Process requisitions for parts with proper warranty review and vendor selection.
• Manage existing inventory, issue/receive purchase orders and interface with departments.
• Review part consumption during maintenance events and manage cores/returns as needed.
