Job summary

Air Methods is seeking a Maintenance Training Specialist to design, implement, and instruct training programs for 135 Field mechanics and 145 Repair Station mechanics. You’ll develop curricula, ensure delivery, and align with CFR and internal policies.

You will maintain training records, assess needs with managers, and act as a technical resource on training requirements under 14 CFR §145.163, while managing the department budget and coordinating external trainings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university and 2–5 years’ related aviation experience or training in aviation.
• Ability to develop goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work interfacing with all levels.
• Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose best solution.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and instruct training programs for Repair Station personnel, Field Maintenance Representatives, and field-based mechanics.
• Develop and maintain training records per company requirements.
• Identify and assess training needs, conduct surveys, and evaluate training effectiveness.
