Job summary

Air Methods seeks a Senior Technician at the 145 Repair Station to act as a subject matter expert for the maintenance discipline and mentor shop personnel. The role includes coordinating with AMC Maintenance Support and Planning, and providing communications to Engineering for specialized shop needs.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 5+ years of related experience and knowledge of AMC Part 145/135 maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of AMC Part 145 and 135 maintenance requirements and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform core duties of the technician requirements at a high level.
• Coordinate with AMC Maintenance Support and Planning for field maintenance needs.
• Provide communications to Engineering for shop needs.
• Mentor new employees in shop procedures to increase efficiency.
• Monitor, control, and order material usage in the shop.
