Job summary

GoJet Airlines in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Maintenance Training Instructor (MTI) to lead aircraft maintenance training programs and manage qualifications, testing, and records for internal and external customers.

You will develop and conduct initial and recurrent classroom and on‑the‑job training at the flight line and hangar, using the necessary tools and data. The MTI must have an FAA A&P license, 2+ years of maintenance experience, an associate degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years regional or mainline aircraft maintenance experience, including training.
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to teach approved procedures and best practices.
• Ability to learn and effectively teach GoJet policies, procedures, and processes.
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Instruct maintenance technicians and ramp personnel in all aspects of the GoJet training curriculum.
• Working knowledge of computer-based aircraft maintenance and tracking systems.
• Read, understand, and present technical publications, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate creativity in training materials development to engage learners.
• Oversee integrity of training data entry and record keeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Maintenance Training Instructor.
• Stay current with safety, performance, and regulatory updates.
• Update training content in line with company policies and FAA guidelines.
